Two outta four aint bad…

The last two days have been very productive. Finished off two projects that i’m really happy with! Now only two more to do and the blimmin’ dissertation and I’ll hopefully get a few days off guilt free in the new year… hopefully.

Under Milk Wood by Dylan Thomas

Third year animation Under Milk Wood by Dylan Thomas, read by Richard Burton.

And many silly hats were drawn that day.

Make your philosophies really hit home with a magnificent piece of headwear.

The notion tickled me so much that it had to be drawn!

A bit more doodles

Done whilst visiting a good friend of mine for the weekend. Not really sure… just fun really!

Sparklehorse lyrics.

As you’ll see when I manage to dig my other sketchbook out from under the various piles of stuff on my bedroom floor that at the moment i’ve been travelling a lot so I’ve had times where it’s just been me my music a sketchbook and a train/bus/hovercraft… aaahhhh just kidding, there was no hovercraft. Anyway, I find that at the moment I’m enjoying doing hand rendered type for various song lyrics I like.

One day project – Alpenglow.

A small one day project from second year that made me laugh but didn’t impress many other people. It’s like the scale of evil… but not the same as bill baileys one…

Under Milk Wood – Drawings

Storyboards and various different scenes and parts of what will be a minute long animation of Under Milk Wood by Dylan Thomas. Watch this space.

Very important dissertation notes

Now see my problem is that I start out with such good intentions. I thought I’d post up some of my brain-poo just because it’s kind of different to my proper stuff. This is what happens when I zone out and disapear off into the land of silliness. So, enjoy I guess.

Works in progress

The first start on one of four uni projects. I have to create three a2 size film posters, the only restrictions are that they have to all be by the same director and they have to use only three colours. Me being me I chose films that I know very very well. Lots more still to do to these but i’m happy with how they’re going.

Finishing off the summer.

It’s done, it’s finally finished. Five months in the making (sortof) but it’s finally there and i’m quite happy with it.

More pictures will follow shortly of the final thing.
